The Synectics team is comprised of the best creative and strategic minds we could find that span the east coast and southeastern United States. Our creative team includes art directors, copywriters, designers, developers, broadcast producers, and project managers. Although our team has won many accolades and awards, we take the greatest pride in developing effective, results-driven advertising.

Stacy De Smet, President and Creative Director

Stacy grew up riding horses on a dairy farm in Pennsylvania. After moving to Alabama, she put herself through college at the University of Alabama in Huntsville and graduated with a BA in graphic design. Over the past 20 years, Stacy has done work for brands such as LINE-X, Amana, Intergraph, SAS Cargo, NASA, U.S. Army, The Surgery Center, Harris Home for Children, and the National Children’s Advocacy Center.

Stacy is involved with the Rotary Club of Greater Huntsville, the North Alabama Better Business Bureau, and the Girl Scouts of North Alabama. She currently lives on a farm in Tennessee, where she rides horses and dreams of having a milk cow.

Bill Schweikert, Director of Photography

Synectics is proud to exclusively partner with Bill Schweikert on all video and film projects. As Director of Photography, Bill brings an adept understanding of light and a painterly approach to the art of filmmaking, and his versatility in all forms of camera work is an asset to any project, from commercial to feature-length formats. Bill has shot projects throughout the world, and believes that it is a collaborative approach to production that creates successful film. His broad range of experience in moving image media – in broadcast television, commercials, feature films, and music videos – has demanded that he be skilled at communicating visual ideas effectively and at solving the very real-world challenges that face any filmmaking effort.
